DMW Academy Refund/Cancellation Policy

Refund Requests Within 72 Hours of Purchase

A student may submit a written cancellation request within 72 hours of the original purchase, provided the scheduled class is more than 30 calendar days away.

Any approved refund will be reduced by the applicable nonrefundable fee based on the student’s onboarding status.

Before Student Portal Activation

When the student portal has not been activated and no digital materials have been delivered, an approved refund will be reduced by:

  • A $250 nonrefundable administrative and seat-reservation fee;

  • Any payment-processing or financing fees not returned to DMW Academy; and

  • The cost of any customized, ordered or nonreturnable supplies.

After Student Portal Activation

Once the student portal has been activated, login credentials have been issued or digital course materials have been made available, an approved refund will be reduced by:

  • A $750 nonrefundable portal activation, intellectual-property and administrative fee;

  • Any payment-processing or financing fees not returned to DMW Academy;

  • The cost of any customized, ordered or nonreturnable supplies; and

  • The value of any other services or materials already delivered.

Portal activation includes making course videos, manuals, templates, business documents, scripts, forms, assessments, resource libraries or other proprietary materials available to the student, regardless of whether the student chooses to log in, view or download them.

No refund will be available after the student has attended any portion of the class or after the applicable cancellation deadline has passed.

Student Portal Activation and Digital Materials after 72 Hours of Purchase

DMW Academy’s student portal and digital resources contain proprietary intellectual property with immediate educational and business value.

Once portal access has been activated or login credentials have been issued:

  • The $750 portal activation, intellectual-property and administrative fee becomes nonrefundable;

  • Failure to log in does not eliminate the fee;

  • Failure to use the materials does not eliminate the fee;

  • Accessing or downloading materials may further limit refund eligibility;

  • Portal access may be suspended if payments become overdue; and

  • Students may not copy, share, resell, distribute or provide portal access to another person.

The portal fee applies because DMW Academy has allocated a limited seat, created the student’s account, prepared onboarding materials and made proprietary educational resources available.

More Than 30 Days Before Class

After the initial 72-hour cancellation period, tuition and deposits are nonrefundable.

A student who provides written notice more than 30 calendar days before class may request one transfer to another scheduled DMW Academy cohort occurring within the next 12 months.

The transfer is subject to:

  • Available seating;

  • Payment of any tuition difference;

  • A $150 transfer fee; and

  • Continued compliance with payment-plan obligations.

Only one transfer is permitted per enrollment.

Between 15 and 30 Days Before Class

Cancellations made between 15 and 30 calendar days before class are not eligible for a refund.

At DMW Academy’s discretion, the student may receive a tuition credit equal to 75% of the amount paid, less nonrefundable fees and materials already provided. The credit must be used toward the same Academy program within 12 months.

A $150 transfer fee applies.

Fourteen Days or Less Before Class

Cancellations made 14 calendar days or less before the scheduled class are:

  • Nonrefundable;

  • Not eligible for a tuition credit; and

  • Not transferable, except in a documented emergency approved by DMW Academy.

Approval of an emergency transfer is not guaranteed. When approved, a transfer fee and any tuition difference may apply.

Deposits

All deposits and seat-reservation payments are nonrefundable.

A deposit secures the student’s seat and is applied toward the total tuition balance. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of enrollment and forfeiture of the deposit.

Payment Plans and Financing

Enrollment in a payment plan does not convert tuition into a pay-as-you-attend arrangement.

The student remains responsible for the full tuition balance according to the payment agreement, even when the student:

  • Stops attending;

  • Does not complete the course;

  • Fails to access the student portal;

  • Changes business plans;

  • Is unable to obtain financing, licensing, employment, certification or a business relationship; or

  • Is removed from the program for violating Academy policies.

Refunds involving third-party financing providers are also subject to the provider’s terms, fees and approval requirements.

Digital Materials and Student Portal Access

Because DMW Academy materials contain proprietary intellectual property, no refunds will be issued after a student has:

  • Logged into the student portal;

  • Accessed course videos;

  • Downloaded manuals, templates, agreements, scripts, forms or business resources;

  • Received digital course files; or

  • Shared or used Academy materials.

Portal access may be suspended when payments become overdue.

Student Substitutions

A registered student may request to transfer the seat to another qualified individual no later than 14 days before class.

The substitute must:

  • Meet all program requirements;

  • Complete the enrollment documents;

  • Agree to Academy policies; and

  • Pay any applicable administrative or tuition difference.

Substitutions require written approval from DMW Academy.

No-Shows and Partial Attendance

Students who fail to attend without written notice are considered no-shows.

No-shows are not eligible for:

  • Refunds;

  • Transfers;

  • Tuition credits;

  • Makeup instruction; or

  • Certificates.

Students who arrive late, leave early, miss required instruction or fail to complete required assessments may be denied certification or completion documents. Tuition will not be refunded.

Failure to Complete Certification Requirements

Payment and attendance do not guarantee certification.

Students must satisfy all applicable:

  • Attendance requirements;

  • Skills demonstrations;

  • Assessments;

  • Documentation requirements;

  • Professional conduct standards;

  • Prerequisites; and

  • Third-party certifying-body requirements.

No refund will be issued when a student does not successfully complete certification requirements.

Removal From the Program

DMW Academy may remove a student for:

  • Disruptive, threatening or unsafe conduct;

  • Harassment;

  • Academic dishonesty;

  • Falsification of documents;

  • Unauthorized recording;

  • Sharing proprietary materials;

  • Failure to follow safety procedures;

  • Failure to meet payment obligations; or

  • Violation of Academy policies.

A student removed for misconduct is not entitled to a refund or transfer.

Class Cancellation or Rescheduling by DMW Academy

If DMW Academy cancels a class and does not offer a reasonable replacement date, the student may choose:

  • A transfer to another available cohort;

  • A tuition credit toward another DMW Academy program; or

  • A refund of tuition paid directly to DMW Academy for the canceled class.

DMW Academy is not responsible for indirect or third-party expenses, including:

  • Airfare;

  • Hotels;

  • Transportation;

  • Lost wages;

  • Childcare;

  • Meals; or

  • Other travel-related costs.

Students are encouraged to purchase refundable travel arrangements.

Severe Weather, Emergencies and Events Beyond DMW Academy’s Control

When a class is postponed because of severe weather, power outages, public emergencies, instructor illness, government restrictions, facility problems or other circumstances beyond DMW Academy’s reasonable control, enrollment will be transferred to the rescheduled class date.

A postponement does not automatically qualify for a refund.

How to Submit a Request

All refund, cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to DMW Academy.

The request must include:

  • Student’s full name;

  • Program name;

  • Scheduled class date;

  • Purchase date;

  • Reason for the request; and

  • Requested resolution.

Requests may be submitted through the official contact information listed on the enrollment confirmation or by contacting:

Dyvine Medical & Wellness

The date DMW Academy receives the written request will determine eligibility.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds may take 7–14 business days to process after written approval. The student’s financial institution or financing provider may require additional processing time.

Refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Students agree to contact DMW Academy first and allow a reasonable opportunity to address billing concerns before filing a chargeback or payment dispute.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically cancel contractual payment obligations. DMW Academy may provide the payment processor with the signed agreement, attendance records, portal-access records, correspondence and other documentation relating to the transaction.

Policy Acknowledgment

By registering, submitting payment, selecting the policy acknowledgment box or signing the enrollment agreement, the student confirms that they:

  • Read this policy;

  • Understand the deadlines and restrictions;

  • Agree that deposits and specified fees are nonrefundable (after a certain amount of time);

  • Agree that even with approval of refunds administrative fees will apply;

  • Understand that enrollment is limited to 10 participants;

  • Accept responsibility for completing all course and payment requirements; and

  • Agree to be bound by this policy.

90-Day Graduate Mentorship

The DMWCCIA 90-Day Graduate Mentorship is governed by its own program terms. A cancellation/refund request may be submitted within 72 hours of purchase provided the Mentorship program has not begun. Once the Mentorship program begins, the $1,500 program fee is nonrefundable. Failure to attend or use sessions does not qualify for a refund, except where required by law.
