PATERNITY FAQ

Common questions

Does the alleged father have to be present?

For a legal test, each participant's collection must be documented. Ask us about scheduling options if participants can't attend together.

Can a peace-of-mind result be upgraded to legal?

Generally no. Legal results require chain-of-custody collection from the start, so choose legal if there's any chance you'll need it officially.

Is testing a newborn safe?

Yes. Collection is a gentle cheek swab with no needles.
